In AssociationSphere, an **interaction** is a record of communication or direct involvement with a constituent. An interaction can also be used to record notes or reports about a constituent.

Interactions can also have **follow-ups**, where you assign a task to a specific AssociationSphere user that is linked to an interaction. For example, an interaction is recorded for a meeting with a constituent and a follow-up is assigned to call and touch base in a week. Follows ups can be assigned for Sponsorship deliverables and tasks, too.

## **Constituent Interactions Records Tab**

Each constituent record includes a tab for all their interactions and follow-ups under Interactions.

From a Household record, the Interactions tab will show a list of all interactions and follow-ups for everyone who is part of that household.

You can customize this grid by moving columns, clicking on columns to sort, and adding filters via the column settings buttons at the top of each column. The software will remember your preferences for this grid.

You can also delete an interaction using the Trash Can icon. Note that deleted interactions are permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

## **Interactions Grid**

A grid with all interactions for all constituents, including any follow-ups can be found under the CRM Module > Interactions. Like other grids you can create and share views and use the Actions menu to export the data, create email lists, and perform batch updates for the constituents. You can also add new interactions from the main grid.
