How do I designate a matching transaction?

When entering or editing a transaction, set the Matching Transaction field to “YES”. You can then select the constituent that is going to match this gift.
If the constituent is not yet in AssociationSphere, you may click the new constituent icon next to Matching Constituent to add the new constituent.
Once entered, the new constituent can be looked up in the pull down list.
Enter the percentage that this other constituent will be matching. If they are going to donate the same amount, the percentage would be 100%. You can also add a memo such as when you should expect to receiving the matching gift.
Identifying a transaction as a potential Matching Gift does not create a pledge for the match, it is simply a note in the transaction.
