Filters can still be applied directly to a grid’s Field Columns by clicking on the three dots to the right of the column title and mousing over Filter in the menu. Or there is also a Filter Menu option just above the grid in-between Search and Sort. This Filter menu allows you to select the desired column and put in the desired filters. You can also add multiple filters before applying them to the grid. Filters applied to both the grid and Filter menu can be included in a View. Note that filters are applied in a hierarchal order, and the top filter will be applied first and affect the data available for the remaining filters.
Click “Add Filter” to add a new filter from the Filter menu. In the first dropdown field you can select which field or column you wish to filter. In the second dropdown field you can input the type of filter you wish to apply and in the third field you can input the value you wish to filter for. Next you can either click “Add Filter” again to input an additional filter or click “Apply” to apply your Filter(s) to the grid. If you are inputting an additional filter, you can also select “And” or “Or” for how your Filters should interact with the data being filtered. “And” indicates that the data must meet both or all the criteria and “Or” indicates it can meet one or the other filter to be included.
To remove a Filter from the menu you can click the “x” next to the row. Or if you wish to quickly remove multiple Filters you can click on the three-dot menu in the right corner of the dialog and select “Clear Filters.” Also under this menu is the ability to “Save” your View or “Save View As” to create a new View. You can also open the View Builder or Share This View.
