AssociationSphere allows you to create pages to collect memberships, payments, surveys, forms, donations and registrations for various fundraising activities like auctions and events. Each page has a unique URL that you can share or embed on your website. Each page is built using the same step-by-step wizard that takes you through setting up the options and levels, styling the page, generating an automatic thank you email, and to the final step of creating the unique URL.
The subsequent articles in this folder provide a list and description of the different models or example pages that are shown in the AssociationSphere sample database. These are the most common set-ups for these pages. However, AssociationSphere provides a multitude of options so that you can customize your pages as needed. Each model includes the URL link to see the finished product.
All revenue generated from the pages can be categorized in four ways with columns available to describe the “For, Fund, Event, and Appeal” that are shown in the Transactions Grid. The lists are easily edited with an Add/Edit feature available for each picklist. The Transactions Grid can be filtered or queried to produce reports with this information.
The “For” is typically the program, project, or campaign the money is earmarked to be used for. The “Fund” is often the bank account or accounting fund where the money is designated or deposited. The “Event” can describe which event that page revenue is associated with. And the “Appeal” allows you to add an appeal description, which is generally when an invitation or fundraising appeal that you would like to track the response to that appeal. Each page can include a default “For, Fund, Event, Appeal” designation. For events and memberships, a specific “For, Fund, Event, Appeal” can be designated for the individual levels and add-ons.
