For customer who collect payment upfront for their memberships but need those payment to display broken out across the duration of the membership you can go into your Account Setting and under the “Options” section turn on the “Use Accrual Membership Payment” setting. With the setting off a full payment of a membership will show as a single transaction, but with the setting turned on a Pledge Schedule and Payments will be created showing equal payments across all the months the membership will be active.
For example a membership costing $1,200 with a 12 month active period will show with Twelve $100 payments, one for each of the 12 months leading up to the memberships expiration.
