Once the Auction has started you can head over to the main Auction grid (Workspace>Auctions>Auctions) where you will see a “Add Paddle Raise” button to the right above the grid. Clicking this button will launch the entry dialog for assigning Paddle Raise levels to your bidders. With the dialog open you will be able make the following selections and entries.
Paddle Raise – Select from the picklist which Paddle Raise amount you wish to assign to the bidder. You can change your selection at any time.
Price – This is a read only field showing the Amount connected to the selected Paddle Raise.
Tax Deductible Amount – This is a ready only field showing the Tax Deductible Amount connected to the selected Paddle Raise.
Bidder Number – Enter the exact Bidder ID including any leading zeros for the Bidder you wish to connect the Paddle Raise amount too.
After completing the form and entering in a Bidder Number/ID you can either click the blue “Assign” button or press “Enter/Return” on your keyboard. This action will add a line item to the grid below connecting the entered bidder with the selected Paddle Raise level. You can then continue this process until all your Bidder’s Paddle Raises have been added to the batch. As you add your Bidder's assignments to the batch you will notice in a Column titled “Record Created” a checkmark in a Yellow circle will display. This color of icon indicates that the Bidders assigned have not yet been validated, meaning the system has not yet checked to see if the bidder number or numbers you entered match anyone.
Once you have finished adding all the Bidder's assignments you can click the blue “Save” button and the validation will begin. You will start to see the Yellow circles being replaced with Green circle if the bidder was found or a Red circle if no matching bidder was found. At any time you can continue to add more Paddle Raises to the batch, you will just need to click “Save” again to validate the new entries. Once this process is completed you can then click the “Close” button and each of these unpaid Paddle Raise transaction will be added onto the main Auction grid, each connected to the assigned Bidder.
After that process had been completed you are welcome to start checking the bidders out and processing those transactions as needed. You can also check out Auction Items, Add-Ons and Paddle Raises connected to the same bidder in a single transaction.
