During the initial upgrade to Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), all users will be required to create a new password. This password must meet the following criteria:
Minimum of 8 characters
At least one uppercase letter
At least one lowercase letter
At least one number
At least one symbol (e.g.,
$!%*?&
)
Email Confirmation
After creating your new password, you’ll be asked to confirm your email address. An email will be sent to the address on file, containing a link for validation.
Click the validation link.
Once validated, you will be able to log into your account.
For all future logins, a validation code will be sent to your email. This code must be copied and pasted into the login screen to complete the sign-in process.
"Remember This Browser" Option
An exception to entering a code each time is the “Remember This Browser” option.
If checked before submitting your validation code, it will bypass 2FA on that browser for a set period of time.
Recommended: Only use this option on personal devices that only you have access to.
Optional: Add a Mobile Phone Number
You can choose to receive your validation code via text message instead of email.
To add a mobile number:
Mouse over your initials in the top-right corner of the software.
Click User Settings.
On the right side of the screen, under the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) section, you’ll find the option to add your mobile phone number.
