What is an In Kind Pledge Payment?

An In Kind pledge payment is the entry to record the fulfilment of an In Kind pledge. For example, an accountant made a pledge to provide accounting services. When that service is delivered, it is recorded as an In Kind pledge payment.

You will record the transaction as a Type In Kind Pledge Payment. Once the type is selected, you will see the option to select which In Kind pledge this is fulfilling under the Pledgesdropdown. You will also enter a Description of Payment Receivedto provide the details of what was actually provided. Description of Payment Received is a column available for sorting and filtering on the Transaction grid for reporting.
