This step allows you to enter all the information about the event like location, time, website, etc.

You are also able to select and add several optional features to your event such as:
 

  • Event date and time
  • Event location and website for the venue
  • Internal notifications when event is submitted
  • Financial Information and Payment Options including:
    • Free or Pay event
    • Connect to a Fundraising Goal Category
    • Allow foreign currency
    • Auto-Acknowledgement of the transaction - this checks a box in the transaction record indicating that the transaction was acknowledged via the automatic email sent after the constituent signs up
    • Member Pricing - Reduced level pricing for members
    • Pay Processing Fee - Allows the Purchaser to pick up the processing
    • Accept General Donations
    • Allow Purchaser or Member to Pay Later - No charge at checkout - Can also make this an internal only option
    • Require a ticket level to purchase add-ons
    • Accept Gift Cards or Subscriptions
    • Choose what company contact information, if any, is collected
    • Assign the default For, Fund, Event, and Appeal
  • Page Content and Display Options including:
    • Social media share buttons - Allows viewers to share form on social media
    • Hiding the event from the donor portal
    • Adding the event to the calendar which is viewed from the donor portal
    • Event messaging - to provide a description and details about the event
    • Video and image gallery
    • Fundraising Goal Bar Chart, Donut or Thermometer - A bar chart, donut or thermometer showing how much money has been raised
    • Display Memo Field - A generic text field added to the form
    • Allow purchaser to subscribe to email lists and text messages
    • Customizing the captions for the levels and add-ons
  • Ticketing information including:
    • Whether it is a ticketed event and customizing the tickets
    • Customizing the ticket email
    • What the event capacity is
    • Recurring Event - Sell Tickets for events that happen over more than one day
    • Guest Survey - A custom Survey that can be attached to the Thank You Message
    • Using a seating chart for theater venues
  • Advanced Settings allowing you to connect the event to:
    • An Auction
    • A Peer-to-Peer Campaign
    • A Volunteer Event
    • Gift Card Event
    • A Subscription/Flex Pass Event
