For constituent’s with multiple mobile phone numbers listed on their record you can select which of those mobile numbers should be used for text messaging that constituent. To mark a mobile phone number as the texting default, go into a constituent’s profile and scroll down to the Phone section. 


Here you can choose to either edit an existing phone number or create new. While editing or entering a phone number you are able to select the Phone Type from a dropdown. If you select “Mobile” as the Phone Type an additional checkbox will appear called, “Make Default Texting Number”. Checking this box will ensure this particular Mobile phone number is what appears on the Grids where the Text Messaging action is available. You are only able to select one Default Texting number.
