An automated action is a predefined task that the software executes automatically when a specific target is reached. For example an automated action can be set up to:
- Send an automated birthday message the day before a constituent's birthday.
- Notify your team when a sponsor contributes $5,000.
- Create a follow-up action for your membership coordinator to send the complete welcome packet to a new member.
- Build custom notifications based on views you have created on the Constituents grid.
Automated actions allow you to be notified of important milestones for your constituents, without needing to manually generate reports.
