Yes. The unsubscribe link only applies to email marketing, surveys sent via email campaigns, auto reminders, and auto responders.
Constituents who make transactions, like purchasing event tickets or making a donation, will still receive their email confirmation, although it is more likely to be delivered to their spam or junk folder.
Using the direct mail feature will also still allow you to send direct communications to the constituent, but restraint is recommended. Do not use Direct Mail for marketing purposes to circumvent the "unsubscribe." Recipients can still identify you as a spammer or report abuse to their email provider, which will damage your sender reputation. This will negatively affect deliverability of all your emails. We recommend respecting the "unsubscribe" request and only using direct mail for important personal communications when necessary.
